A contrastive study of The Sampler and Kong Yiji

By comparing and contrasting the two novels The Sampler and Kong Yiji,the article aims at appreciating and analyzing the similarities and differences of these two works.The causes of the fate of the two protagonists are traced from the perspective of times and social background,and artistry of these two novels is reproduced by understanding their narrative method.The purpose of doing so is to compare and appreciate these two literary works.
