Research on Economic Ethics in Zhou Yi

Zhou Yi(The Book of Changes) is the one of the oldest Chinese classics. There are two parts in it,one termed Jing(the Text),and the other Zhuan(the Commentaries). Zhou Yi is rich in economic ethics resource,such as working with the changes of climate in farming,harmonious relationship between righteousness and profit,credit management,thrifty consumption and fair distribution. These ideas reveal some original thoughts about ecological harmony and social harmony,which may well solve the crisis of ecology and society caused by anthropocentrism,consumerism,etc. The research on these ideologies is helpful to study Chinese traditional economic ethics,and benefit today's economic development.
