Securities regulation and supervision：history of concept and goal

This paper analyses the history of securities regulation and explores the concept of securities regulation from the perspectives of economics, science of law and politics. It also analyses the problems of securities regulation from the perspective of governmental intervention in a broad sense and defines the intermediate goal and radical goal of the securities regulation and supervision.
