    Abstract
  • Marx launched the critique of alienated labor under capitalism in Economic Philosophy Manuscripts in 1844 and proposed a humanistic view of alienation;Andre Gorz demonstrated the individual concept of existential alienation in History of Moral by revelation of the human living condition.Andre Gorz raised the consumption theory of alienation and developed Marx's concept of alienation through the re-explanation of Marx's concept of alienation.However,Andre Gorz' alienation theory on the analysis of alienation has not gone far enough,failing to recognize the root causes of the alienation of capitalist private ownership.
