Enlightenment of Pierre Bourdieu’s Sociological Theory on Feminist Theory

Pierre Bourdieu's sociological theory provides an important theoretical support and useful enlightenment for the development of feminist theory.This paper thinks that the influences include: the theoretical focus of Bourdieu's theory beyond the binary opposition provides a new thinking way for feminist theory;the "reflection" characteristics of Bourdieu's theory provides a powerful ideological weapon for feminist theory to challenge the traditional social science;the combination of theory with empirical research and methodological diversity advocated by Bourdieu provides an important enlightenment for the exploration of feminist methodology;Bourdieu's symbolic power theory provides a good interpretation tool for feminist theory.
