Analysis of affect and foreign language teaching

people have done considerable research on the cognitive abilities of language learners and the functions of those abilities in the foreign language learning.but so far little attention has been given to the functions of non-cognitive abilities such as affect.thispaper analyzes the possible influence of affect on the foreign language learning and emphasizes that the emotional communication between teachers and students contributes to the smooth operation of the teaching process and the improvement of the teaching effect.
