Preliminary Study on Non-standard Forms of Characters of Stone-inscriotions in Northern Dynasties

As the first hand research materials,stone-inscriptions are of strong authenticity.Because their emerging time and place can be defined,then they can give direct arguments for the research of fixing time and place.This article,based upon stone inscriptions in Northern Dynasties,classifies and describes the popular circumstances of non-standard forms of characters in those times,and interprets and analyses the emerging reasons and grounds of those characters.
