Abstract
The western people regard Man as the unity of a trilogy:intelligence,emotion,and the will The Realist poetics stresses intelligence,while the Romanticist poetics attaches importance to the emotion,and the Aesthetics poetics,with OscarWilde as the representative,cherishes the will of human beings,or,in Wilde'sterm,egoism or personality.He believes the aim of life is for the fulfillment of one'spersonality,and art is the best way fo rsuch pursuits.It is in this sense that we believe that Wilde's poetics is of ethical nature.
