Analysis of the Foreign Policy towards China in the Period of the Cabinet of Hayato Ikeda

Abstract
Before the Sino-Japan diplomatic relations was resumed,the obvious character of Japanese Postwar foreign policy towards China was indifferent in politics yet hot in economics,which was especially clearly displayed in the period of the Cabinet of Hayato Ikeda.The Cabinet of Hayato Ikeda gave a positive support to the American anti-China policy in politics and at the same time,it strengthened the contact with China in economy.Its foreign policy towards China had obvious dual character.
