Abstract

Based on semantic theories this paper discusses the different aspects of speech sounds,words,sentences of English-Chinese.We try to analyse the differences and similarities of the two languages comparatively.The comparative analysis may help the study of theory of intercultrual communication,language teaching and semantics.
