Lexical devices in the text of common science and technology

    Abstract
  • Reiteration and collocation are the two lexical devices widely used in English of common science and technology. Based on the analysis of selected sentences and on the statistical analysis, studies on reiteration and collocation are presented. It shows that being familiar with the lexical devices helps the readers in the reading of English of common science and technology.
