Approaches to Intralingual Meanings and Compensations for Information Gap in Terms of Literary Translation

Based on the idea of meanings of socio-semiotics,meaning can be broken down into referential meaning,pragmatic meaning and intralingual meaning,among which the latter,as one of the important factors to restrain the translatability,is constantly considered to be a hard nut to crack in translation. Intralingual meaning is concerned with every aspect of language,i.e. phonetics,lexicon,sentence and text,etc. The paper is intended to probe approaches to intralingual meaning and compensations for information gap in terms of literary translation.
