On the Culture of Remote Ages and Primitive Sports

  • In order to explore the relation between the sports of the early man and culture, this paper makes deep research into the culture of remote ages and primitive sports by reading literature and using logical and synthetic analysis. The author thinks that the arising of sports comes from man's instinctive needs for survival. The early man invented archery and throwing in the production as well as dance and play for the physiological and psychological needs, which was the basis for the arising of sports. What's more, wars of the primitive society promoted the development of sports.
