Abstract

Known to be one of the most prestigious writers in the 20th American literature, Earnest Hemingway was awarded 1954 Nobel Prize for his "mastery of the art of modern narration". In this paper, some analyses are provided in the angle of view, tense, and person, to illustrate the basic narrative features of Hemingway's short stories.
