Analysis on the Causes of Catholic Reformation in Early Modern Western Europe——-A reassessment of Counter-Reformation

In this thesis,focusing on the power system of Catholicism,the moral situation of clergymen,the discord between the religious need of common believers and doctrines of church,the author analyzed the problems faced by Catholicism in early modern,pointing out that in facing the new situation following the transition in politics,economy and culture in early modern Western European society,the Catholicism must reform itself to fit for the need of Era.
