Esteeming and appointing the person with virtue and ability is the kernel of Xun zi's view on talents.Its main contents include five parts, namely, the importance of talents, the criterion of talents, the selection of talents, the utilization and the test of talents. The author comments on them, and analyzes its contemporary significance.
