This paper represents the significance of studying the important thought of Three Represents in the united front from three aspects:the objective requirement of building the socialism with the Chinese characteristics,the necessity of strengthening the unite front leadership andthe basic guarantee of constantly consolidating the patriotic unite front in the new century.It also emphasizes that we should possess the consciousness of overall situation,the political consciousness,the suffering consciousness,and the consciousness of responsibility so as to initiatethe new situation of the united front.
