The Analysis Methods of Sememe in the Research of Extending Meaning in Shuo Wen Tong Xun Ding Sheng

Of the four most famous schools of shuo wen jie zi(meaning explanation of words) in the Qing Dynasty,Zhu Junsheng's masterpiece Shuo Wen Tong Xun Ding Sheng(meaning semantic studies)is a concentrated work of traditional semantics research.Based on the explanation of original meaning in Shuo Wen Jie Zi,Mr.Zhu formed the meaning system of words including original meaning,extending meaning and borrowed meaning.Mr.Zhu made a thorough inquiry into the cause and the course of extending of meaning of the words by means of analysis of change of essential factor of original meaning,which contains the methods of analysis of sememe.
