On the Development of Modern Postal Service in Jiangxi——The Survey Based on Post Run by Jiujiang Customs

After the Opium War,the development of Chinese postal service is in confusion. Since 1866,after concurrent and pilot operation,the Chinese customs eventually obtained the full authority of running the Chinese postal service in 1896,and the Jiangxi postal founded by Jiujiang customs came into being. The postal made by the customs was the result of controlling the Chinese postal service and further controlling China by the contemporary imperialists so as to finally reach their aggressive goals. The whole process was characterized by colonization. But after the Jiangxi postal was founded by Jiujiang customs,it made progress in the system construction,post-road development, business development and other aspects, which promoted objectively the development and transition of Jiangxi postal service in modern times,but compared with the developed area,it was still backward.
