Colleges and universities are typical knowledge-intensive organizations.To build the learner-type organizations in the colleges and universities is necessitated by the development of times because it can promote innovation of knowledge and foster creative talents and raise the core competitiveness of colleges.This paper introduces the concept and developmental process of the learner-type organizations and discusses how to build the learner-type organizations in colleges and universities.
