A brief introduction to cultural input in College English teaching

Language,carrier of culture,is closely related to culture.The practice of culture input in College English teaching can not only expose students to more thorough understanding of the foreign language, but also improve students` integrated ability of language application so as to lessen all kinds of barriers caused by cultural diversity in cross-cultural communication.This paper is to make some elementary discussion over the necessity and the practice of cultural input in College English teaching.
