Research on the Manufacturing Competition in Nanchang City

The regional industrial competition is the core component of regional competition and decides the degree of regional competition.This paper constructs evaluation index system of regional industrial competition in Nanchang by Principle Component Analysis.It sets up evaluation model in Nanchang.Finally,it draws following conclusions:as a whole,the manufacturing has no competitive advantages.The labour-intensive industries such as manufactures of beverages and food have some advantages,but the equipment manufacturing industries have no competitive advantages.The industries to which government pay more attention such as medicine,automobile,food,textile and wearing apparel have more advantages than others.The hi-tech industries and burgeoning industries have great potential development.It is necessary to improve the environment in Nanchang and promote the development of the industrial technology to enhance manufacturing competition in Nanchang.
