Practical Dilemmas and Countermeasures of Jiangxi Province Integrating Into the Joint Construction of a Unified National Market

The construction of a unified national market is a key focus for accelerating and promoting regional coordinated development. Jiangxi Province has systematically planned and collaboratively advanced its efforts, undertaking significant work in areas such as the “five unifications and one opening-up”, injecting strong momentum into the high-quality economic and social development. However, in the process of integrating into the construction of the unified national market, Jiangxi Province is confronted with practical challenges at multiple levels, including geographical positioning, industrial development, demographic structure, and institutional implementation. Accordingly, this paper proposes countermeasures, including geographical upgrading, industrial leapfrogging, demographic strategy, regional integration, and governance innovation to advance Jiangxi’s integration into the unified national market, transforming the province from a “peripheral player” to a “new core”.
