Satisfaction of the Policy Implementation of University Teachers’ Team Construction in the New EraA Questionnaire Survey Based on 241 Local University Teachers

  • Since the onset of the new era, the state had introduced a series of policies aimed at building a strong higher education country by promoting the construction and development of university teaching faculties. As a target group, faculty satisfaction with the policy implementation is an important basis to measure and evaluate the implementation degree of the policy of faculty contingent construction. By selecting the policy texts Opinions on Comprehensively Deepening the Reform of Faculty Contingent Construction in the New Era and Guiding Opinions on Strengthening the Construction of Higher Education Faculty in the New Era as references, we chose 7 local colleges and universities and conducted a sample survey of 241 faculty members to explore the satisfaction with the implementation of faculty contingent construction policies in higher education institutions and the influencing factors. The survey results indicated that faculty exhibit high levels of satisfaction with the implementation of the policy. The educational background and professional experience of faculty significantly influenced their satisfaction with the policy implementation. Additionally, their understanding of the policy text and their involvement in policy implementation were crucial factors affecting overall satisfaction. To enhance policy implementation satisfaction among faculty, it was recommended to guide faculty in understanding policy content, encourage their active participation in policy implementation, consider the development needs of various types of faculty members, and improve the existing management system.
