From Township Autonomy to State Governance: Transformation and Experience of Clan Governance Model in Soviet Area

  • During the period of the Soviet area, when the Communist Party of China led the people of the Soviet area to carry out the revolutionary movement, it also carried out a comprehensive reform of the clan governance model. By transforming the main body of clan governance, the concept of family governance, and the relationship of consanguinity, the Communist Party of China has initially formed a democratic governance model with the Soviet regime at all levels as the leading, workers and peasants as the center, and mass organizations cooperating, and has initially realized the transition from township autonomy to state governance. The Communist Party of China leads the masses of workers and peasants, always focuses on the work of the revolutionary and governance center in the Soviet area, pays attention to improving the lives of the masses, encourages workers and peasants to actively participate in social governance, and builds and innovates the social system, and has accumulated valuable historical experience, which has important implications for better promoting the modernization of the social governance system and governance capacity at the grass-roots level in the new era.
