By elaborating on AI and its applications in higher education, it systematically analyzes the transformation and risk challenges of higher education in the era of AI from the economic, social, ethical, and environmental dimensions, and devises a practical guide that can effectively integrate AI into higher education. Throughout the text, exploring the future of effective higher education in the era of artificial intelligence has also become a must for higher education stakeholders. Therefore, the interpretation of the guide should be further extended to the broader areas of philosophy, connectivity, good governance, and humanism, in order to take a more comprehensive and critical view of the quality development of higher education in the era of AI.
