-
Abstract
The grassroots Party organizations were the cornerstone of the Communist Party of China to leverage the countryside and mobilize farmers, including working women, to participate in the revolution in early stage. However, the resolution on the mobilization of women by the Communist Party of China Central Committee has not all been plain sailing in grassroots Party organizations in the Soviet area. The implementation of the resolution on the mobilization of women by the Communist Party of China Central Committee had experienced a transformation process in the revolutionary base areas of southern Jiangxi and western Fujian with closed regional environment and strong feudal ideology. It turned from the embarrassment that it was difficult to implement in the initial stage to the fact that the mobilized women literally held up half the Soviet area’s sky. Probing into its organizational reasons, this transformation mainly benefits from the construction of grassroots Party organizations in the Central Soviet Area. This construction was carried out through measures such as optimizing the organizational system, strengthening organizational education and training, and standardizing the Party’s internal inspection system. Base on these measures, the grassroots Party organizations has kept rising its influence in the Central Soviet Area, and then ultimately becomes the party’s battleground in grassroots society in the Soviet Area.
