Significance and Strategy of Integrating Cultural Confidence Into Design and Art Education in College

  • Culture is the soul of a country and the blood of a nation. Cultural confidence reflects people’s recognition and conviction of their own national culture. It is established on the basis of a full understanding of national culture, and implemented in the inheritance, development and creation of national culture. It should play an important role in driving the development of college design and art education work. Facing the new era proposition of “promoting the great development and prosperity of socialist culture”, college design and art education must shoulder the mission and responsibility of cultivating cultural confidence. At present, design and art education is in an increasingly difficult situation in the innovation and exploration of cultural confidence integration. Studying the current situation, restricting factors and strategies for the integration of cultural confidence in design and art education in colleges play an important role and significance for raising the level of design and art education, cultivating the cultural confidence of contemporary college students and carrying forward the outstanding culture of our country.
