The Basic Economic System Guarantee and Path Choice of Common Prosperity

In the new era, the Communist Party of China has always adhered to the basic economic system of socialism with Chinese characteristics and continuously promoted its modernization in China, providing institutional guarantees for the realization of common prosperity for all people, common prosperity for comprehensive development, common prosperity for common construction and sharing, and common prosperity for gradual advancement. To make solid progress in promoting common prosperity, the advantages of the basic economic system of socialism with Chinese characteristics should be given full play and the development paths should be explored. The paths include making state-owned enterprises better, bigger and stronger in the ownership dimension, reflecting the principle of “people’s character”, and improving the market environment for the healthy development of the non-public sector of the economy. In the dimension of distribution system, the paths include improving the level of human capital, enhancing the balance and accessibility of social public service security system, and playing lasting role in the third distribution. From the perspective of the market economy, the new development vision should be followed, and we should activate growth drivers through innovation, prevent development imbalances through coordination, promote sustainable development through green development, shape development pattern through opening up, promote equity and justice through sharing to make solid progress in achieving common prosperity.
