Abstract
After the victory of the October Revolution in Russia, the establishment of the Soviet state laid the political power foundation for Lenin to lead the theory and practice of the party’s propaganda and ideological work. The people orientation of Lenin’s propaganda thought in this period was mainly reflected in the following aspects. He called for vigorously strengthening the propaganda and education of Marxism to lay the ideological foundation for socialist construction. He also asked for carrying out propaganda and agitation around economic work to lay the material foundation for socialist construction. In his opinion, the propaganda work must be closely combined with the actual life of the people and strengthen the flesh and blood relationship with the people. It is emphasized that propaganda work should pay attention to giving play to the people’s main role and forge an indestructible army of socialist construction. Lenin insisted on the unity of the party spirit and the people’s nature in leading the propaganda and ideological work, and was committed to turning the party’s correct propositions into the conscious actions of the masses. It is of great theoretical and practical significance to deeply study the people orientation of Lenin’s propaganda thought after the October Revolution.
