Narrative With TeaA Brief Description of Tea Narrative in Different Literary and Artistic Works

  • In traditional Chinese literature, narrative is an important link. The study of tea narratives in different forms of literary and artistic works, such as tea writings, tea novels, tea verses, tea songs, tea dances, tea operas, tea paintings, tea calligraphy, etc., are deeply permeated with the spirit of traditional Chinese culture. In the pursuit of the ideal realm of traditional Chinese culture, the most advocated is the harmonious unity of man and nature, man and society, man and man, and truth, goodness and beauty, which is the embodiment of the love for life. The narrative of tea is consistent with people’s pursuits. Chinese tea people have always adhered to the original intention, integrating daily tea drinking activities with the spirit of life and aesthetic emotional activities, personality ideals, etc., and running through different forms of literary and artistic genre works. From this tea narrative lifestyle, they could realize the rationality of life and express the noble spiritual character of being clean and free from the world. It makes today’s tea drinking tea have a more profound aesthetic spirit and cultural value.
