Policy Comparison of School Sports Governance in China and Britain

Abstract
This paper compared the policy of school sports governance experience between British and China by means of literature review and content analysis. The results show that the main factors of why policy implementation was hampered and got poor policy effect in the process of China’s school sports governance are restrictive policy tools and single policy objective. The effective ways of improving china’s school sports governance capacities and system and reach policy goals in new era are to design school sports policy toolkit reasonably and optimize policy objective. By means of constructive policy toolkit and guided by optimized policy objective, there is chance for further realization to make China’s school sports policy rooted in and spillover effect reflected.
