Realization Degree of the Goals of the 12th Five-Year Plan for Jiangxi's Education Development and Related Evaluations and Analyses

  • Quantitative analysis of the overall realization situation of the goals of the 12th five-year plan for Jiangxi's Education Development, can provide a reference for the implementation of the "13th Five-Year" plan. This paper has selected some quantifiable indicators in the plan and formed a indicator system. By establishing a mathematical model, the author has worked out the realization degrees of the overall goal and each sub-goal. The data show that, during the 12th five-year plan period, Jiangxi had been enjoyed adequate educational fund input, highly qualified teaching body, remarkable educational output, human resources being improved at a relatively high speed and favorable overall effect of the education development, while the development potential of the secondary vocational school was insufficient; the competitiveness of colleges and universities was not strong and the postgraduate education and the education of foreign students still need to be improved. Therefore, it necessary to ensure that investment in education, optimize the educational structure, promote the high level university, discipline construction and development of school characteristics in the "13th Five-Year" period.
