-
Abstract
The study of academic help giving not only makes up for the current lack of attention to the helpers in the process of academic help seeking, but also has a positive effect on promoting the process of academic help. Taking the students' mathematics learning as an example, this paper explored the impact of social goals and classroom goals on students' academic help giving. It was found that dominant goal had a negative impact on instrumental academic help giving(IAHG) and executive academic help giving(EAHG), popularity goal had a negative impact on the IAHG and a positive effect on EAHG, intimate goal had a positive effect on IAHG, the classroom mastery goal had a positive effect on IAHG, classroom achievement goal had a negative impact on both IAHG and EAHG.
