Analysis of Zeng Gong's Economic Ethics Thought

  • As a politician emerged during the important historical juncture of Song dynasty, Zeng Gong's economic ethics thought is the product of the productivity and commodity economy as well as the Confucianism in ancient China. Under the background of the economic and social development of Song Dynasty, the paper analysis Zeng Gong's economic ethics thoughts from vertical and horizontal views, which includes financial economy thought, the people's livelihood thought and the relationship of agriculture and business. These thoughts are not only a reflection of the economic ethics in ancient Chinese, but also a reference of economic ethics in modern society.
