Research of the Journalist Groups' Early Dissemination of Marxism in Modern China

  • Modern journalist groups during the four development stages after the Sino Japanese War of 1894—1895, had played an important role in the early spread of Marxism in China. In the early 20th century, reformist imported Marxism when introducing western thought. During the period of the 1911 Revolution, the bourgeois revolutionist with the purpose to prove three democracy righteousness, advocated and studied works of Marxist theory. In the May 4th movement, new cultural journalist introduced Marxism as salvation theory to the Chinese people. Before and after the founding of the Communist Party, the early Communist Party, holding a firm belief in the theory and the revolutionary triumphalism, disseminated Marxism actively.
