On the Imperialistic Nature for the United States of America

  • The history of the USA is one history of imperialistic expansion, successively experiencing three phases of expansion, such as territorial, economic and cultural, etc. In the 20th century, especially since the end of the WWⅡ, the main means for American expansion abroad has been cultural. Through the global influence of its cultural "soft power", the USA has come to be one modern "cultural empire".
