The Official Admonitions in Ancient China and Their Contents

As a unique cultural phenomenon, the official admonition has been concerned by the modern scholars. Although to some extent there are a few disputes in detail, we can still discuss it on some consensus-based issues. The frame construction contains "cultivate the morality","regulate the family", "administer the country" which are proposed by The Great Learning. They are not only the orders of the social management proposed by the Confucian political theory, but also the internal logic that the official admonitions compilation followed. Therefore, the official admonitions in ancient China include the three aspects mentioned above.
