Screening and Breeding Bacteria of Bioleaching Cobalt from Spent Lithium ion Batteries

On the experience of ore leaching technology by microbe,bioleaching of spent lithium ion batteries was attempted in this investigation.With screening,enrichment,purification and mutagenize,thiobacillus ferrooxidans and thiobacillus thiooxidans were obtained.The results show the leaching efficiency is the best after ultraviolet mutagenize on the condition of initial pH 2,temperature 30℃ with 2g/L electrode material added,and cobaltion concentration was 5.3213g/L.
