Infrared spectroscopic and thermal analysis of cerium acetate crystal

    Abstract
  • A method for preparation of cerium acetate crystal is presented.The cerium content in the crystal is determined by EDTA complex titration,infrared spectroscopy of the crystal is measured on a Fourier transform infrared spectrometry,thermogravimetry and differential thermal analysis for the crystal is performed on a high temperature integrated thermal analysis apparatus.The thermal decomposition mechanism of acetate crystal in an atmosphere of air is investigated.
