Dry friction and wear properties of 3D-Network ceramics Reinforced ZL109 alloy composites

  • A 3D-network ceramics reinforced aluminum alloys composites was fabricated with die-casting.The wear resistance of MNCC under dry sliding conditions was studied carefully when the loading level was varied.The results showed that the wear resistance of the composites was superior to that of matrix and the wear resistance of the composites is getting better with the diameter's diminishing.
