Experimental investigation of sampling quality of north concrete anchor at Runyang Bridge

The disturbance of soil sample varies according to diameter of sampler. It is very important to choose diameter of sampler properly because the too small diameter sampler can't guarantee quality of soil sample and the too big one increases bore costs. Experimental investigation was proceeded for sampling quality in scientific research item of the north concrete anchor of Ruyang bridge. The test result shows the large diameter sampler should be chosen if economic condition is available.
