Study on synthesis of p-Nitroanisole catalyzed by Chitosan Pd

Using the natural polymer chitosan as supporter,yellow powder of chitosan-immobilized palladium(Ⅱ) chloride which was prepared by treating chitosan with palladium chloride in hydrochloric acid solution at room temperature was refluxed in ethanol.Its activity of chitosan Pd in the reaction of p-nitrochlorobenzene and methanol with sodium hydroxide for synthesis of p-nitroanisole was studied.The influence factors of reaction was investigated.The catalyst can be recovered by filtration and washing with solvent.And it can be reused by many times.
