Effects of PEG on PVDF/Hydrophilicity Polymer Blend Membranes

  • Effects of PEG on PVDF/hydrophilicity polymer blend membranes were studied.Polyethylene glycols(PEG) were added into PVDF/Hydrophilicity Polymer(B) blend system. The content of PEG plays an important role in the structure and properties of the final membranes.By adding PEG,high-flux and big pore size porous membrane was obtained. When the content of PEG is 7.5%,the pure water flux, ratio of pore and mean pore size of blend membrane arrive at 1050 L/m2·h,73.0% and 0.19μm,respectively.Thus,the porous membrane with different pore size can be obtained by regulating the contents of PEG in PVDF/B blend solution.
