On the problem of controlling Wall Thickness in Centrifugal Cstings

In order to control the wall thickness of the centrifugal castings,the authors of this paper have developed a quantitatively controlled high-precision automatic pouring machine of plateform scale type based on the principle of weight reduction,which allows to realize contintuous on-line inspection of the weight of the poured liquid metal and,then,precise control of the wall thickness of castings.Results have shown that this system is helpful on raising significantly the product quality.
