Simulation of welding processes by finite element analysis

    Abstract
  • The finite element analysis of temperature fields and stress field in the T welding is accomplished based on the ANSYS.It puts forward a double heat sources model combined with Gaussian and double ellipsoidal distribution.And the dynamic simulation of temperature field and stress field for welding process has been realized by using ANSYS parametric design language(APDL).The results conform to the theory calculation.
