A Study on the Electrochemistry Behavior of the Alloys in the Manmade Crevices

In this paper,a device of determining the susceptivity of metel's Crerice Corrosion was designed.With this device,the anodic reversing potential scan curves of 1Cr18Ni9Ti,LY12,and TC3 alloys were drawn in Nace 3.5%wt Solution.The experiment results shown that the more narrow Crevices,the lower pH Valueis,and both breakdown potential φ_b and protertion potetial φ_p are important value to evaluate crevice Corrosion susceptvity.
