A study on the treatment of phenol in water by using UV/Fenton process

    Abstract
  • Through a number of experiments, the optimum condition of UV/Fenton process to remove phenol from water was determined:pH value was about 3.5,H2O2 was equal to 0.15mol/L,FeSO4 was 0.015mol/L and the reaction time was 40 min while 10mg/L of the concentration of phenol in water was treated.And the principle of Fenton reaction was discussed preliminarily.
