Study on the treatment of low turbidity wastewater by using microflocculation variable void deep filter

In this paper,the effect of some factors such as diameter of filter medium,sort and quantity of flocculant,filtration velocity etc.on filtering characteristics is studied in a treatment of low turbidity wastewater by using microflocculation variable void deep filter.It is found from the experiment that the system has the advantages of saving on quantity of chemicals,reducing loss of resistance,augmenting quantity of effluent water and having fine filtering efficiency of the whole bed under the same quality of effluent water.
