The Electrode Electrochemical Performance of MnO2 with two Component Conductive Agent

Abstract
The MnO2 powder was prepared by the method of anodic electrodeposition as an electrode active material,and mixed with two-component conductive agent which including a few Multi-walled carbon nanotubes and Acetylene black to fabricate the MnO2 electrodes for supercapacitors. The effect of two-component conductive agent was investigated by Scanning Electron Microscope and cyclic voltammetry,constant current charging-discharging,electrochemical test and so on. The results show that Hs100 in two-component conductive agent making the conductive agent more uniform. Electrode has a typical property of capacitance,and also has a good reversible property. With increasing of scan rate,compared with single conductive agent electrode,the electrode with two-component conductive agent had a higher capacity retention rate. After 1000 recharge cycles,the electrode which contained two-component conductive agent had a good stability of capacity and resistance,and the retention rate could exceed 96%.
